Institute of British Organ Building
We are please to announce that in 2015 we became accredited to the Institute of British Organ Building in the assessment category of Tuning and Maintenance. We have a long term vision of being accredited to the Cleaning and Overhaul category to complement the services which we currently offer. Basic power tools, saw etc. Sufficient room to assemble a small organ. Awaiting inspection. Number of Staff : 2 Services Offered : Restoration, rebuilding, cleaning, overhaul and a tuning service Examples of Work Inspected : Examples included the maintenance of a three manual instrument and the observation of tuning which included two 2-rank mixtures and a difficult Cornopean stop. Inspectors Noted : Inspector noted painstaking work and accurate attention to detail and the ability to attend to faults in situ with competence.
